Writing Rates

Most companies we work with do not need extensive writing work, as they have often memorized the message they want to share. Should you need more work on the script, our rates are below. (NOTE: 140 words can be spoken in a minute.)

• Free - Script writing A - This is already included in our rates. 2 meetings with client provided rough draft. On average we usually end up influencing 10% of the words in an animation script. That includes script consulting, making the script conversational, and weaving in a character journey or a metaphor.

• $400 - Script writing B - Includes an award-winning script writer. 3 meetings and 2 drafts using the company website for the core messaging. This rate is great for condensing 50% of provided materials.

• $650 - Script writing C - Includes an award-winning script writer. 4 meetings and 3 script drafts (3 minutes or less). This rate is great for condensing provided materials to a third.

• $900 - Script writing D - Includes an award-winning script writer, 5 meetings and 4 script drafts (3 minutes or less). This rate is great for condensing provided materials to a quarter.

We also offer translation services for just about any language. Our work has been translated into 50 languages and counting.

 

Production Schedule

Our turnaround time for a two to three minute project is normally 5-6 weeks from script to finish. Days are based on work days. (NOTE: The schedule can be expedited. However, the tighter the deadline, the fewer notes/ changes can be made.)

• Day 1 - We receive your rough script and all reference materials such as videos or images

• Day 3 - A meeting to discuss the script and concept

• Day 7 - Storyboard

• Day 11 - Animated Storyboard first 33% (Script and voice over is locked)

• Day 14 - Animated Storyboard last 67%

• Day 20 - Animation first 33% (Animated Storyboard is locked)

• Day 23 - Animation second 33%

• Day 26 - Animation final 33% (Animation is delivered! note: days are based on work days)
